Within our life (times) (2024)
Video, Audio, Collage
Mixing real-life footage and five interviews with the collage-like reconstruction of the camp, it plays with the missing images as well as the particularity of the space of the camp. It looks at the conflicts and internal debates of the camp as an essential element of understanding the protest camp as a place that experiments with an alternative form of living together. Part of the activism becomes bringing these conflicts into public space, following Mouffes approach of an agonistic space (Chantal Mouffe, Artistic Activism and Agonistic Spaces, 2007).
Including the filmmaker as both a participant of the camp and the narrator of the documentary, it gives the audience an insight into the questions and negotiations occurring during the protest camp.
